LTC Quotecards: February ’15 Edition
After 4 months, we have decided to give you all a break from the LTC Quotecards. Many thanks to all those who have contributed over the period. We have had some great response from many who have thanked us for that added boost that the quotecards have been providing 🙂
We plan to revive them again during the course of the year, but for now want to start sharing some other less familiar inspirational content with you.
As mentioned in the previous LTC Quotecard posts, we’ve launched two categories:
- The Monday Inspiration – this is the spark to get you back onto (or to start) your training routine
- The Friday Call to Adventure – the challenge to get out there and experience life on the front lines away from the couch
If you missed the February posts, here they are…
The Monday Inspiration

“If you set your goals ridiculously high and it’s a failure, you will fail above everyone else’s success” – James Cameron – posted on the 02 February 2015

“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts” – Winston Churchill – posted on the 09 February 2015

“If at some point you don’t ask yourself, ‘What have I gotten myself into?’ then you’re not doing it right” – Roland Gau – posted on the 16 February 2015

“If you are not willing to risk the usual, you will have to settle for the ordinary” – Jim Rohn – posted on the 23 February 2015
The Friday Call to Adventure

“Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves” – Henry David Thoreau – posted on the 27 February 2015
The movement still goes on
Leave the couch is not just a blog about my random outings, reviews and other stuff.
It is a challenge for everyone to join in on the movement and to seek adventure!
Thanks to those who have contributed their pics so far 🙂 Please keep sending me more pics as you #leavethecouch and you could be featured on one of our quotecards when we continue again later this year 🙂
Send your photos to fareed@leavethecouch.co.za with your name, twitter and instagram handles and you could be bringing inspiration to others on one of our future posts in 2015!
– Peace
